So Much Going On

In the midst of the million things I have going on in my real life, I did find some time to enjoy my Animal Crossing life. I've been trying to save up enough bells to get a windmill. I wonder what kind of wonderful things we can do with a windmill? I've also been visiting with Sarah a lot. We do all sorts of silly of things when we're in eachother's towns.

My crossbreeding has been working. Not as great as Sarah's, but I don't try as hard either, lol. Here is my pink roses:

Gifts and Friends

Today I got a bunch of gifts in the mail from Sarah. She sent me a Geisha Wig, a Lucky Clover, a Racer Shirt, and a Super Mushroom. It was amazing!!! Today we also got our fountain finally. It kind of sucks though because you can't do anything with it except for throw an ax in it and hope you get a golden one back. Pretty lame if you ask me. They should have made it more interactive.

I visited Reno today and Sarah caught a Napolean Fish. It was HUGE!


Sarah has been crossbreeding her flowers like crazy. She has so many! We decided to take a picture in some of them. Aren't we CUTE!?!?!



I've been working on crossbreeding too. I'm trying to get every type of flower. Hopefully that help towards getting a "perfect town." Here is me watering my pink tulip. It's so precious. :)

I Need More Flowers

I'm still waiting to get my fountain. How long could it possibly take to build it? I'm really getting sick of waiting for it!

I need to plant some more flowers around town, but fishing really sucked today so I didn't buy any. Hopefully tomorrow fishing will go better so I brighten up my town. I want them to love the town instead of saying it's ok. It's going to take a lot of work though. No matter how many flowers I plant they still say it's a D+ or C-. I must suck at keeping the town up to their standards.

I really need to visit with Sarah, but I don't see much of that happening since we'll be doing a lot of packing for the next few weeks. But when we move we're going to get a wireless router and then I'll be able to visit even when Dustin is using the internet. Yay for visiting ALL the time!!! :)

Fountain

We finally donated enough money to get a fountain. I'm anxious to see where it will be placed. I'm guessing it will be near the Town Hall. I guess we'll see...

I've been buying a lot of accessories lately. I bought a pharoh mask and a hero mask. I'm pretty much badass now! haha... I also caught a blue marlin. It really surprised me because I thought I was going to catch another sea bass. I'm getting really sick of sea basses.

Cicadas Galore

So typically I am a fisher, but last night I spent forever catching bugs. There were so many Cicadas out that it wasn't even funny. I was trying to catch a Walker Cicada for one of the towns-folks, but I kept catching Robust Cicadas, Brown Cicadas, and Fruit Beatles. UGH! I got Dustin hooked on bug catching now too. He's also been trying to donate more since he finished paying off his house. That should make things easier on me since I was the ONLY one donating anything.

I have to check the town fund today. I am pretty sure we donated enough to get our fountain. That will be exciting!

Good Times

Sunday was the Flea Market. It was neat because it was like garage saleing, which I love. I bought a white baby grand piano. I couldn't find anything else I wanted. I did sell a TON of stuff from my house though. I made a total of $15500 bells. Pretty good if you ask me.

Yesterday I did tons of fishing. I finally caught a coelcanth. I've been trying to catch that thing since I started playing. But you can only catch it when it's raining or snowing. I took him to the museum and Blather's was highly impressed. I also caught a hammerhead shark and a Dorado. Blather's was impressed by those too. He said he never thought anyone in Vegas would ever catch a Dorado. If I ever catch another one I might just keep him in my house. He was gold colored, so he was pretty cool looking.

I'm still waiting on my bridge to be built. I know that Dustin, Sam, and I all voted, so I don't know what we're waiting on to get it built. I want it NOW!!! lol... As soon as it's built then I can start donating again so I can get a fountain. I almost have enough saved up right now if they would just along with building the bridge. I wonder where the fountain would be built. I think I read somewhere that it goes by the Town Hall, but I could be wrong. I'm really excited because after that I can work on getting a windmill or lighthouse. It's 1000000 bells! I have to talk to Sarah and see which one she is going to build, because you can only build one or the other. We can get the opposite of eachother so that we can both benefit from both. :)

Sharky Poo

I caught another shark. I was so excited! Dustin caught a hammerhead shark. He didn't donate it to the museum tho. I guess I'll have to catch one myself...

I finally donated enough to get my bridge. I hope we get it in the spot that I want it. I have to check and see how much I need to donate to get the next upgrade. I can't remember what it is. Time to check the book. :)

UPDATE

So I feel incredibly bad. I haven't played Animal Crossing like 3 months. My townsfolk were worried about me. But I have started playing hard core again. I got all the weeds and cockroaches out the town. But my beautiful garden was all gone. :( I guess I'll have to start a new one.

I've been donating all sorts of things to the museum. It's the least I can do now that I don't have a mortgage. I even caught a shark. He was pretty bad ass. I kept him in my house for a day then donated him. I'm getting pretty close to having all the fish that you can catch this month. I wonder how long it will take me to get every fish in the game... I've been donating tons of bugs too. Blathers doesn't like them but oh well. I've been catching all sorts of weird bugs like diving beetles, pond skimmers, and mantises. I also caught some unusual butterflies. The agrias butterfly and the bird wing butterfly. Blathers was impressed by the agrias butterfly because he said they have an atypical flight pattern and they're very fast. It did take me FOREVER to catch it and I had to catch it while I was running. hahaha...

I played around with getting my hair done at Shampoodle. The first few hairstyles were horrible. Then I let Sam answer the questions for me and I turned out with old lady white hair. Never again... I finally got hair that I'm ok with for now. It actually looks pretty much like my hair in real life. Craziness... I also bought a frog hat. It's incredibly cute. I can't wait to show Sarah when she visits.

Crazy

So, it's been awhile since I've updated my blog. I have been playing quite a bit, but just haven't found the time to blog about my adventures.

Recently I paid off my mortgage and I've upgraded my house for the final time. I'm saving my money up in the bank so I can make a huge donation to the town and get the first town upgrade: a new bridge. That should be exciting! It'll definately make getting around town easier. Well, as long as it's put in a decent place. I guess we'll see.

Fish and bugs have been galore lately. I've been making bank like no other. I played for maybe an hour today and probably made around 5oK or more. Pretty good if you ask me.

I'm really looking forward to visiting Sarah's town now that she has Wii Speak. It will be humorous none the less. It'll almost be like having us in the same room, lol... It'll make conversing on Animal Crossing much easier. Before she could hear me, but she had to type everything she wanted to tell me or call me on the phone.

Fun Times

Yesterday I shot a present out of the sky. I got a fire flower, like out of Mario. It's pretty sweet. I put it next to my starman and it looks awesome againts my Mario theme wallpaper. The walrus was in town, so I fed him a pear and he gave me a shirt with a puppy on it. I edited it a lil and now it's super sweet.

Also yesterday, Sarah and I visited eachother's towns. I planted 3 pear trees in her town so hopefully my flowers won't wither as often. We had a fishing contest and I beat her 5-4. That was pretty fun.

Later Dustin and Sarah visited and they played hide and sick. Which was silly, but funny at the same time. Then Dustin kept pouring water on Sarah while she blowed bubbles from her amazing bubble wand she got from the vendor in town. Which reminds me that I really need to go to town more often and check this vendor guy out. I hear you can get balloon animals from him.

Fishing Tourny

I won the tournament with a 45.9 inch Sea Bass!!! I caught 4 tunas yesterday too. CRAZY!!! I got a trophy for winning the tournament. YAY! It's sitting in my house right now.

On another note, my house got it's upgrade too. I now have an upstairs. I've made my downstairs the living/entertaining area, and the upstairs is for quiet and lounging in my hammock. The mortgage now is $348000. BAM! I can't wait to get it paid off though. When you pay that one off you get a basement. That'll be sweet. Since that's the last upgrade I probably won't pay anything on it and start donating to the town fund so that we can get our lighthouse. I wonder what exciting things you can do there? My Animal Crossing book only tells me that I can have a lighthouse, it doesn't tell me anything about what I can do in it. I know with the fountain that you can throw an ax in it and it might give you a silver or golden ax back. But I'm sure they both have to do more than that.

Oh, yesterday I also got a letter and chocolate from Moe for Valentine's Day. Uh oh, lol... Dustin got a letter from Victoria, but she said she was out of chocolate so he didn't get any. I would have given him mine but I had already sold it to Nook. Oops, haha. Oh well.

Well, I think it's time to play a little more. Business to take care of...

Yesterday was quite uneventful in Vegas. I did some deliveries and then some fishing. I paid off part of my mortgage and that's about it. I'm hoping tonight will be more eventful for me. I'm also hoping that I'll get my mortgage paid off so that my house will get bigger. I think I actually get more rooms when I upgrade this time. That'll be amazing. I can have a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. YAY!!! Ooo, if I get more than 3 rooms I guess I could start like a lil' museum in my house full of odd things. I've pretty much started that already, but it'd be pretty cool to have a whole room dedicated to random objects. :)

VISITOR

Last night Sarah and I finally got to visit eachothers' towns. It was pretty cool. It was nice having a change of scenery. I got some cherries from her town and planted them in mine. I need to take some pears over to her's. One of her town folk said something about planting 3 trees in her town and my flowers in my town would not wilt. I hope I heard him correctly, cuz that would be amazing. I have a problem with losing flowers once in awhile and it would be nice to not have to worry about watering them constantly.

I can't wait to get off work so that I can play tonight. I need to do a lot more fishing so that I can pay off my mortgage tonight and upgrade again. I have so many random things in my house and I want to add MORE! :)

Tuna

Caught a tuna today. That's my 3rd one, but it was still amazing. I made a killing fishing today. I think I made around $35000. I'll probably play later and see if I can pay off my mortgage and upgrade my house for the 4th time.

Dustin is playing right now and catching some fish. He's yelling at them! lol... I don't think it's really helping, but I'll leave him alone.

FIRST POST!

I've been playing Animal Crossing: City Folk for awhile now and I'll admit, I'm completely addicted. I love to go fishing more than anything. I also enjoy digging up fossils and donating them to the museum. I recently got my boyfriend, Dustin, addicted to the game as well. He tries to beat me at fishing, but that'll never happen. I'm the master fisher in the house! haha...

Last night was not very eventful. I mostly did some fishing and I made a snow man. I can't wait to see what gift he'll send me for creating him. :)

I've really been looking forward to visiting my friend's town, but for some reason we can't seem to get it to work right. Everytime one of us tries to come over it says we have a connection error. Hopefully the next time we try we can get it all figured out. I need to get some different fruit in my town. Especially since my coconut tree died for some reason. That really killed my day when I saw that.
